Come on dude! I know you like to be contentious but really... Obviously there's no substitute for riding it yourself, but doing that sort of mileage shows more dedication than most reviewers (and a total disregard for the possibility of some truely debilitating monkeybutt!)
I know Dave's delivery is not always scintillating (too many pauses for a sip of the coffee), but he approaches this from the same angle as me - I want a bike I can ride comfortably at reasonable speed to the area I want to play in, have fun and ride back. Does this bike meet those criteria? He says it does more or less. Much more informative than some wannabe Baja hero with loads of flashy footage of rooster tails and revving engines and no helpful content.
