Hi Mehmet
Is it Hakan & Sandan who wants to temporarily store their bike in SE Asia?
Malaysia is possible. I stored my bike there for a while last year. But it is a carnet country, which means that technically you cannot leave a temporarily imported vehicle in a country while the importer is out of the country. Malaysia also imposes a time limit of three months (extendable to 12 months) - LINK.
Cambodia: just like Thailand (and Laos), Cambodia is not a carnet country. The Cambodian Customs Authorities are a bit 'hit-and-miss', to the point that even they probably don’t know what their own importation rules are!
I have my Transalp stored in Phnom Penh right now. I will be going back there on 25th October to pick-up on my ride – destination will be Kathmandu, Nepal, before the end of the year.
I have a couple of biker contacts in Phnom Penh. With this in mind, if your friends want to consider that city for storage purposes, then please do not hesitate to send me a PM or an e-mail if you need more information.
I hope it is Hakan & Sandan we are talking about here .. and that they will be returning to the SE Asian region around October/November time. It would be really great to meet them.
All the best
Keith
