The idea was not only in relation to my own bike, I think it is of interest to many people.
You can sell bikes in Argentina and Paraguay, but someone has to pay an import tax. In uruguay there is a rule against importing used bikes, so the dealers dont even give you a lowball offer - they just say no.
This is important knowledge I think.
I would also like information about peoples experiences buying bikes in China, Russia, Brazil or whereever. I is really nice to be able to read what bike another person bought, how they registered it, how they got rid of it.
Bikes that are being sold traveller to traveller are not really a part of this idea.
