Riding in Spain….help needed!

Ok….I've decided to go to Spain to ride.
I will ship my Honda from Canada to Spain….that's pretty straight forward…..
MY QUESTION IS THIS……

CAN I SHIP MY BIKE INTO SPAIN…..RIDE FOR 3 MONTHS…..PUT THE BIKE INTO STORAGE AND LEGALLY, LEAVE IT THERE UNTIL I RETURN TO SPAIN 6-12 MONTHS LATER AND BE ABLE TO RIDE IT AGAIN WITH NO ISSUES??

Thanks in advance for your replies.

To get the best chance for answers , it would help if you stated your nationality and in which country is the motorcycle is registered in.

A quick call to your nearest Spanish Consulate would be a good idea to check latest legal position.

Right let me guess. I see that your location is Vietnam. So I'm guessing you are on your travels. Your bike is Canadian registered. So you are a Canadian. Some time in the near future you are going to end up in Spain, then fly back to Canada. So you want to leave your bike in Spain. In a lock up store. To fly home and then fly back to Spain to carry on your travel's? Is that about right?

To buy petrol in Europe. Pull up at station. Wait. Get out a 20 Euro note, then ask someone to fill up the bike. Give person money. Ride away. Simple.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
