recommendations please for where to do my direct access course in london
hi

i really want to book my direct access course in london but really would love to hear personal recommendations from people.

I am a novice rider - have a 125cc and motorbiked around northern thailand recently - but really want to ride form the uk to mongolia next year. Im doing enduro riding at the moment - but really want to get road legal and buy a bigger bike.

Im a 34 year old female - might need a training school that has lowered seat im 5"4.

Have a look at SEWB's page on Facebook (South East Women Bikers). Lots of women posting there re bikes to ride, course to take etc esp for those who are a bit shorter.

And don't assume you need a big bike to ride to Mongolia. Lighter and smaller is better for many reasons.......

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
