HELP!!! 21" front tire needed in turku, finland

Hi,

we just came this morning from the Ferry in Helsinki on our way to turku and carched a Flat tire 97km ahead of turku.

Is anybody around turku who has 21" front wheel tire? We leave the Bike here getting picked up for turku, but need to continue tomorrow north. It is our Honeymoon trip and we are booked for ice Hotel in Sweden for nye...

Please contact US via Pm.

Thanks a lot ,

Turku

Hi Jan,

its nearly 6pm in Turku now, sorry its noon here in Bolivia and I just got up.

As I dont have any biker friends in Turku, I dont know whom to contact there. The closest friend of the family lives in Kokemäki, maybe three hours from Turku, but he does not ride bikes. I could phone him, he has his summer cottage a bit North of Pori and you could stay there until shops open on Tuesday. I send a message to the HU Community in Helsinki.

I think by now you got an inner tube. But if not, just ask around at the next petrol station. Yes, Finns can be grumpy, but they will go out of there way to help you if they can ....

Good luck
mika

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
