This topic will self destruct at approx. 3am when I have to get off my butt or earlier if one of our guests decides to go walkabout.

what part of the night do you find the hardest?
geting up for 17:00 to pickup daughter ok
cooking for 18:00 passable
start work 19:00 coffee needed
1 hour in 20:00 feeling flat!
at 02:30 to 04:00 need more coffee......
04:30 to 07:00 finish, starting to wake up :-/
07:00 to 09:00 get daughter ready and take her to school... to busy to realise how I feel normally!
09:00 to 11:00 try to go to sleep for next shift
repeat 3 times = 4 shifts..

Mines rather pathetic compared to that:
Leave for work 2030hrs
Start work 2130hrs
Settle children by 23/2400hrs
Patrol corridors/ internet till 0300
Clean kitchen, load/unload dishwasher
Clean bathrooms and toilets
Do assorted washing/drying
Lay table for breakfast
All the time keeping an eye open if one should make a break for freedom
End shift 0730hrs
Get home 0830hrs
Then I'm supposed to start my day job as a supply teacher however luckily had no work this week but I've just been booked for next so I'll be giving up the Waking Nights.

New to Horizons Unlimited?

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
