Never been and never likely to go. Back in the early days it always coincided with exam time and the lottery aspect of buying an overpriced ticket on a WW2 vintage cattle boat to get there didn't appeal. I could have a month in Greece for the price of a week of grease burgers and watered down in Ramsey.
These days the prospect of spending a week at a "bikerfest" appeals even less. It feels more like the sort of thing you'd be sentenced to rather than something I'd want to do - a kind of Alcatraz with motorcycles. And it's not even as if you could get time off for good behaviour; being on an island once you're there, you're stuck there.
I suppose there is an arguement that says don't knock if you haven't been, to which I would say fine, if it floats your boat you go and tell me all about it when you get back. I'll be down in the Alps or somewhere.
