amusing old cars

Sorry no but as its Friday, I thought you might like to see one of the fleets of taxis out there which you can rent by the day cheap.
And they come with full Air-Con ...

Talking But if you want a 4X4...

These are still the best ones to hire. I've yet to see one stuck in sand
Just remember that when you 'brick' him to increase its water intake, to keep your fingers well clear...
It's worth mentioning that they also can carry syphilis and Mers, but it's hard to tell as they all slobber so much- so if you've a mind to kiss one of those... it would be worth remembering in time!
and the white ones have a more gentle temperament- here is my favorite one posing- naturally!
I took those camel pics at the last Festival du Desert in Essakane.
It feels like soooo long ago.

Are you sure that is not Borat's favourite taxi, the Dacia Denem?

Spotted this R16 in Bucarest a while ago. Renault were built under license in Romania by Dacia (or it´s people owned predecessor) and later Dacia went under the roof of Renault.

But this thread needs Cuban taxis, of course:

spotted this Lada, which is actually a Fiat, built under license.

Most amusing old car was this Land Rover Series with a Willy´s nose

Nice thread. Looking forward to s´one adding more

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
