Elderly couple starting a RTW on a Honda CG in Brazil

One of the biggest newspaper in Brazil (Folha de São Paulo) just made a small article about an elderly couple planning a RTW trip on a brazilian Honda CG 160cc ( portuguese version and automated translation version - you may need to click on the "Continuar Lendo" icon to read the end of the article). Their website is this one ( http://www.mybigdream.co/ ) and they just started the travel for those who what to follow. I don't know them personally but I took the liberty to send them an e-mail suggesting to subscribe here to share their travel stories with us.

Great stuff.

Wish them well for their great Adventure, just goes to show the bug can come at any time and they went for it.

Maybe the lesson here is 1, that you're never to old to do anything (you want)
and 2, that if they can do it, getting up and going then WHATS STOPPING YOU

Hope to see them somewhere on the road, be happy to have a with them, so if anyone catches sight of them post it up.

Cheers. Bryan

Two-up on a 160cc with no substantial savings or plan.

They've got guts, I'll give them that!

PS. that link for their website doesn't seem to be valid. Try this:

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
