Vstrom 650 Chain and Sprocket Kit, Columbia!

HI

I have sent an email over a week ago to the following store

Suzuki Super Servicio

I have had no response as yet and need some help if anyone can, in fact not even a read receipt, I probably got sent to the SPAM box

I am leaving Panama to Cartegena on the 19th November and will be somewhere near Medellin around the 23rd Nov.

I am in need of a stock chain, and both stock sprockets for my 2007 DL650 Vstrom.

If there is anyone in Columbia who could do me a favour, and initiate contact with a shop who has, or who can order the above I would appreciate it vey much. If need be I may have to do it here in Costa Rica, or even Panama, so I will look for parts there as well. I have still some miles available on the current set, but I would like to buy the parts ASAP, so I have them available.

Cheers

Suzuki Medellin

These guys are just down the street from me and being that they generally have a line of about 15 Vstroms in for servicing I,m guessing that a chain and sprockets won,t be a problems.
That and they,re very nice people as well, means you,re good to go!

OK, that sounds great, any help with directions at all?

I will be arriving from Cartegena in the north, but have no street level maps at all, just a country map and basic world map on a Garmin.

Cheers
Richard

**edit** OK, I saw the GPS coords on their site.

Suzuki V-storms are being assembled here in Colombia on a Suzuki factory, so parts for v-stroms should be no problem in Colombia what so ever.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
