Looking for storage in Lima, Peru end of October

We need a safe place to store the van in Lima at the end of October.

Its a Toyota van & we have to fly back home after almost 3 years for the first time. We will be away for 2 months. We will be back 01/01/2018.

Its funny because at the same time, I provide a couple from Australia on an Africa Twin with free storage in my parents house ;-)

Anybody would like to help?

Thanks in advance.

I know I will sound cheapy and sort of freeloader but I am looking for a free place to store my van. This way, we found Victor (through HUBB) an amazing Mexican who literally gave us his place for 3 months in Merida for FREE.

Besides that, I am hosting a couple from Australia and storing their bike for free for 3 months in Greece (Nov-Jan).

I was counting on finding a HUBB member willing to offer some space. I know, in this life we should have zero expectations but I hope we will find something.

If this community exists and is what it is, it's because some people help the others.

Thanks anyway for your recommendation. I already sent an email to Felippe.

If its a bike that needs storage, maybe give the "Biker Bros" motorcycle club a message on the FB page..... they may be able to assist. We met them in Cusco and they gave us some good advice on routes etc through Peru. Not sure if they are associated with any clubs...... but at the end of the day we are all brothers!

The peruvian list has not active links except the Motoviajeros link. I am not sure how I can get in contact with the guys.

Our flight is next Monday evening and we are still looking for something. The paid option is horrible. They are asking for 80 USD per month (which we personally find too much)

Thanks anyway.

Sorted! Thanks for all the input. Hope the motorbikes will have better luck though.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
