Reliable workshop in Manaus

Hi
I'm looking for a reliable workshop for my F800GS around Manaus area. I need to make thorough engine inspection etc.
If anyone can suggest a contact I'd be grateful.
Ziggy

BMW Dealer

Hi Ziggy,

In case you were not aware, there is a BMW Motorrad dealer in Manaus

Braga Motors
Av. Djalma Batista, 3.500 C,
69053-000 Manaus
+55 (92) 33216000
http://www.bmw.com.br/braga-motors
braga@bragamotors.com.br

You can pick up a lot of generic parts, like a chain, wheel bearings, tires and brake pads cheaper if you avoid the dealer$hip. For things like checking valve clearances, I would bite the bullet and take the bike to a dealer.

BMW dealer

Hi Peter
thanks for feedback, unfortunately I have checked this BMW dealer in Manaus before posting my question to the forum.
I have even managed to send the email to the BMW in Portuguese but no response at all

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
