Hi
A new set of Pirelli´s or Metzllers in argentina is less then 100 US or 280 pesos.
I think in Mendoza must be some dealer,is a big city.Prices in Chile are not known to me.
Maybe some member from Chile could help further.
Is Alex better from stomage ache?

I got my tire last year in Barriloche, they had to order it from Mendoza! Cost's you the transport extra and the tire is a little more expensive as well! In Mendoza it will be easyer and 15,- to 20,- $US cheaper as well!

Like Albert I picked up a new rear in Bariloche and it was absolutely shot by the time I got to Buenos Aires via Ushuaia. It'll cost you more getting anything further south.

Suerte!

Hi Henno

I got Metzeler Karoos in Punta Arenas from a guy who runs a little moto shop by the cemetary. He's a two times Chilean motocross champion and he had my tyres flown down from Santiago which took two days. The cost was still much less than in the UK.

Regards, Mick

I have to buy front and rear tires for my Yamaha Super Tenere XTZ750. The best tires are Metzeler and although they are manufactured in Brazil, they are very good, better than Pirelli. Go for the Enduro 3 Sahara if you ride in dirt roads and Tourance if you stick to paved roads. The pair (front and rear) is around US$143. Back is around US$90 (140/80-17). Can make contact if you wish. Best regards and safe trip.
