Where to stay in Santiago

Hi,
I am looking for a cheap place to stay in santiago for a couple nights. I need secure parking for a truck with a pop-up camper and a double room for 20,000clp or less. Any suggestions on where to look? I am open to being somewhat outside the center for cheaper prices, as long as it is withing a km or so of a metro stop.

There is a place ive been a hostal in the area Bare brasil that has a really big place to park cars etc. I used it to park my bike even though I was staying with friends. dont know the name anymore but its on av. cienfuegos. No idea on prices, will be the same as everywhere I presume. Nice vibe as well, the whole shabangabang

Here are a couple of websites any South America traveler should have bookmarked. I found this South American hotel/hostel site completely reliable. Hotels in South America | PACARAMA.COM You check out the listings and book, I usually booked something 3/4th of the way down the list price wise and then put the address in my GPS. .
