After reading the Facebook page I've altered the title from just Peru, to Peru/Chile.

His posting 26 December reads, "After some rest and comfort for Christmas tomorrow I resumed the south towards the road to reach Arica in Chile. This will compelled to spend an Additional Customs before joining Bolivia but I prefer that than board cauchemare in Lima. Then I have three route choices: the first I stay on major roads tarred passing north of Lake Poopo Oruro by the second I pass south of the lake via Turco, Toledo until the pi ste is ripio then due south, Untavi and Santario of Quillacas (tiny track on my card?) the third I live through Huachacalla I walked along the Salar de Cojpasa then Tambillo shortest route on the map but the small track and no cities.

If anyone know this region and information on the state of the tracks, housing and above are there any gas stations? any help and advice is welcome, the Bolovie is superb but very by hostile place like I was able to notice my being depends a little too optimistic to go."

I relayed this info to a club in Bolivia. They're going to spread the word with other motoqueros in the Bolivia/Peru/Chile region .

tell his family to try access to his google account. You can tracks devices like telephones and locate them (I think).
If someone has his password.. try it !

Sounds like a good idea but might be better to suggest on the Facebook page.

the family can contact PDI and find out if he crossed the border into Chile, in similar cases they have done this before. Once done, at least they know if they have to look for him in Peru or Chile.
