Crossing to India

Hello
We are currently in Laos, we have applied for a permit to cross Thailand from 9th to 16th February and have emailed an agency to see if they can guide us across Myanmar from 16th to 23rd February, as yet we have heard nothing from Myanmar guide. Looking at latest post in the Hubb re Thailand we wonder if we will get a permit. If those dates are any good to you we would be happy to join up with you if we can get the permit. We are a mature English couple who have driven from England via Iran and China to Laos.
Do get in touch if you would like to explore this further either in here or by private message.

Malaysia to Myanmar

Hi! We may be interested in joining the group- all depends on timings for permits to cross. We were hoping to go to Cambodia/Vietnam/Laos but can't really afford to pay for so many guided trips across Thailand! I think we have to skip them and come straight to the border with Myanmar at Mae Sot to cross. Are your dates definite?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
