Give me a shout as you're passing Estonia (if you are).

If you're taking the all-Norwegian route upwards... make sure you take in Lofoten.

It looks like a great ride is coming on. You'll have a great time for sure. If it was me i would not enter Turkey and maybe Stans at that time of year 40 degrees temperature Will be your everyday problem from Turkey to Mongolia. It's better to plan a northern route. Also political problem in Turkey at the moment and ready to start a war with Georgian people so think twice and wise before you enter.

Why not just cross over at Dover, Ride every EU country.
Then head to Russia, head east taking as much as Russia as you can.
Stop at Omsk head south into Kazakhstan (Easy to entry no visa for UK passport holders and is the same custom cleanness forum for Russia)
Back into Russia but now you need to get a double entry visa for Russia before you leave the UK.
Keep heading east to Vladivostok passing the great Lake Baikal near Irkutsk.

If you have time why not ride the "Road of Bones"

As mention, Turkey and the Stans are just going to be hard works with loads of paperwork and visa required.

Sounds like a great ride done it the other way 2 years ago.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
