Wales and Northern Ireland

Heyy all,
I'm planning a trip from London through wales northern ireland and back home. I'm on an FJR1300 and i will go for 5 days total.
I'm attaching a tentative route, but i'm looking for locals advice, things i shouldn't miss along the way, epic roads, nice views etc.
I know about the wild atlantic way so far. what section is best? any other not to be missed?

My early rideouts were to Wales, while I also have fond memories of holidays there in my youth (each a long while ago). I'm not clear on your route from the image you show, but it appears that you're heading West around Snowdonia on the A487. Assuming you're not hitting peak holiday season I'd head through Beddgelert on the A498 up to the A4086 and head down the Llanberis pass. There are several options to get to Beddgelert - take your pick.

You may consider exploring around Rhayader and the Elan valley on your way up to Snowdonia, too.

You don't say if you camping or staying in b&b.

If your camping, try Nantcol Waterfalls campsite. We use it regularly for weekends away.

The west coast of Ireland is the most scenic ,
if I was you I would drive from roslare to west cork and do "The Wild Atlantic Way Route" all the way up north and then around to Dublin/ferry to Holyhead.

Agreed - some of the parts of Northern Ireland are really beautiful (Larne to Giants Causeway road is stunning), but you'd be much better off riding to Cork, then riding to Killarney along the southern coast (don't take inland road, its not as great).
Then you can do Ring of Kerry, go up along the West Coast. If you have a day to spare, do Connemara (but unlikely as you only have 5 days in total?) and take a motorway for a quick escape to Dublin to catch a ferry.

If you're running late head north from Bala and take the A5 towards Bangor, it's pretty twisty (although there can be a lot of traffic) and has some great views.

I'd make a small modification to that. After Llyn Celyn, hang a right onto the B4391 to Ffestiniog, then rejoin the route via the A496. The road up past Trawsfynydd is not so interesting.
