HELP - trying to find two men met in Bodhgaya, India

Hi,

I am a journalist based in New York, trying to track down two men for a story I am working on. A friend of our show was traveling in India (Bodhgaya) in early 2012, and met two Slovenian men, who said they were on their way to Madagascar to form a tantric community.

Our friend met them in a guest house in Bodhgaya in what he believes was May of 2012. They were charming and knowledgeable and we are trying to find them to see if they were successful in their plans. If anybody in your community has any recollections of men who might fit this description (two men in their late 40s, driving a Nissan Patrol van or similar with Slovenian plates and traveling through Goa, Bodhgaya and Kolkata), we would love to hear from you.

Thank you!

Elizabeth

Reach out to this Dude, He knows a bit about Madagascar. His name is Ash Dykes. An outside chance he may know something about them.

Here's the car they were driving

The car on the right is the vehicle they were using to drive from Slovenia to India. Maybe this helps?

Well they were not in Goa (Agonda) around January 2012, there were a lot of overlanders with cars but no Slovenian guys. From there we drove north and did not see them on the road, but yeah, India is big.

Thanks for your responses. It sounds like their itinerary was something like:

- mid/late 2011-early 2012 from Slovenia to India via Iran and Pakistan
- early 2012 they were in Goa. Apparently they were staying in bungalow accommodation somewhere near the beach and there was a fire, in which they lost many of their possessions.
- They were then driving from Goa to Kolkata to get necessary permits and so on.
- They met our friend at what I believe was the Happy International Guesthouse in Bodhgaya in late April/early May of 2012 before presumably continuing on to Kolkata.

Thank you all so much for the tips!

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
