Twoxsams Dallas to stugis run in run

Before our run up to sturgis, dad and I decided we should do a short trip to run the bikes and more impotently ourself in, having to be able to ride on the right side of the road and all.

So on the Thursday of the 4th of July weekend. we left from Oklahoma city. followed the 77 south to Denton, then the 377 and 380 to prosper to make contact with a HU user, shout-out to Bo, top bloke and a wealth of knowledge. He recommended, seeing that we where headed to Fort Smith, Arkansas the next day that should do the Talimena Dr.

The next day we left from McKinney Tx heading towards Idabel Ok via Bonham and Paris, is was slow going at the start due to the heavy rain between Bonham and Paris. but the weather quickly improved and the blue sky greeted us as we left Idabel up to Talimena Dr.

We didn't know what to expect from Talimena Dr but what we got was amazing, lots of long sweeping bends over hills and mountains surrounded by a lush green forest as far as the eye could see. I would definitely recommend it.

we spent the night in Fort Smith then because the weather didn’t look like holding we headed straight on the interstate to Oklahoma city.
Despite it just being a short quick run, I’m already in love with this country, its roads, landscapes and its people, I’m excited to hit the road again to see more of this great country on our trip to sturgis.
