Action Cam Mount "best practices"
Hi,
I got myself a Sony FDR-X 1000 for capturing my next trip and tried different mounting positions on my BMW g650gs, but I'm not getting happy
I used a RAM U-Bolt Base with a short arm on the fairing crashbar, but the vibrations make the footage nearly impossible to watch (even with "Steady Shot" turned on).
Then I tried the RAM Motorcycle Base mount, attached to the mirror, with a medium arm; results are better, but still lot's of (heavy) vibrations.
I start to wonder if there is at least a chance to make an action cam work smoothly with a large 1-cylindre? :/
What are best practices for mounting cams on - or near - to frame parts?
Maybe better options than RAM?
Any related articles I might want to read?
Thanks in advance!
