Wakhan afghan corridor

Anyone planning to visit the afghan Wakhan corridor this summer?
I have no idea if they are giving Afghan visa in Khorog Tajikistan right now but if they do I am planning to enter and ride my bike to Sarhad-e-Broghil.
Anyone keen to join me? I am planning to be there in July (2018).

I still need some more research on this, but I might be interested. I will respond once I have advanced further in my planning.

She mentioned, that you could still get the visa (3rd mention of "Afghanistan" on the page)

Yeah I'm quite possibly going there, around that time - but maybe on two wheels otherwise in a Fwd.. few things need confirming first though.

Rough plan is starting in Dushanbe and then heading down the Pamir's into the Wakhan. And then back.
This'd be my second time in the Pamirs.
I'm a travel photographer and this'd be for work, but I'd be keen to team up with some fellow bikers.

Hi
I was planning to go into the Wakhan mid June on my bike if i could find someone to go with me. I have been in Afghanistan 3 x before so know what the road is like (pretty rough) and some river crossings. Dependent on getting a visa in Khorog,

Thanks for your reply guys,
The big question is will we get an Afghan visa in Tajikistan.
Anyway, PM me when you have more definite plans.
I will be in Taji at the end of June.
Cheers
Didier

Man, HUBB never gave me a notification that there was a reply to this.
So, guessing I missed you guys.. as it turned out I'm not going till start of September.

Did either of you end up heading over?

Hey Stonsky, did we meet at Freedom Hostel in Almaty last year? (Are you Italian?) Either way, I should be going into Wakhan around then.
