Cheap crate around Surrey Vancouver

Hi there,

I'm currently in the Okanagan but move in a few days to Vancouver to ship the bike and go back to Belgium. I'd like to know or there's anyone who has a crate laying around or knows where to get one almost for free?
It needs to be pretty small. Rough minimum measurements are: 23.6" wide, 82.7" long and 43.3"high. I called the HD shop and first they said it's free and now they want 125$ for an oversized crate.
If anyone can help me out or give me some info that would be great!
Please text me at +1 514 715 1531.

Thank you in advance!
Greetings,
Bossit.

Bossit:

Have you looked into Air Canada's offers for shipping a motorcycle to Europe? They have some quite attractive prices for shipping motos (even more attractive if you also buy a passenger ticket on AC at the same time), and you don't need to crate the moto. Just show up with less than 1/4 tank of gas, they will put it in a container and ship it "as is".

I don't think AC serves Belgium out of Vancouver, but they have non-stop flights to other destinations close to Belgium (Amsterdam, Frankfurt).

Might save you all the trouble of crating the bike.

See the numerous other discussions here on HUBB about Air Canada and shipping bikes Canada to Europe.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
