EPA & exportation.
I have a question re EPA and export paperwork.
I’m shipping my bike in to Toronto then crossing into the US at Niagara Falls.
I have my EPA temporary import exemption for my bike.
I’ve been instructed that they need a copy of my exportation document and a copy of the EPA letter to remove my bike from their system.
As I’m heading South to Ushuaia I’m not exporting the bike directly out of the US as crossing the border into Mexico which isn’t classed as exporting.
My question is how do I obtain the export paper work if I’m crossing into Mexico?

I'm not at all an expert on this matter, so take my comments below "with a grain of salt".
1) Unless you have posted a bond or otherwise had to make some kind of contingent liability with the EPA to get the permit, I would not be too worried about closing it out. You don't reside in the US, and it is unlikely they will try to come and get you in the UK as if you were Julian Assange or similar.
2) On your way down to Ushuaia you will probably collect dozens of documents recording importation & exportation of your motorcycle into all the different countries that you pass through. I think it would probably be sufficient to forward to the EPA the documentation showing that you exited the USA into Mexico, and then some additional documentation that proves further southward movement of your motorcycle after leaving Mexico.
3) If all else fails, when you return to the UK, you will have lots of documentation of that (your shipping waybills, etc.) - just send that documentation to the EPA, it will show that your moto is back in its country of origin.
Hope these thoughts help.

Only wanted to see our import papers into Canada. US has agreement so you don’t import from Canada. Something similar US/Mexico, then we just carried on from there.
Canada/US border = 15 minutes
US/Mexico border = 20 minutes
Central American borders = between 3-5 hours each

Exactly what I was thinking. With so much documentation of my journey I will have plenty of proof of it being exported. Like you say I doubt they'll come after me in the UK as I really not that important lol....
Thanks for the PM I have sent you an email.
