looking for landrover parts in Tangier

Hi

we are currently in tangier and have our landrover at a local garage. we are in need of one of the timing belt gears and the shaft.

can anyone help please? we are struggling to source them

There is a LR dealer with servicing close to the airport off the main road.

Landrover could have ordered it, but the local garage have sourced the shaft and is having the gear made.

they are very good mechanics here

Good news that you're sorted.
I can reccommend the guys at SMEIA in Marrakech. We turned up half an hour before closing yesterday with a poorly Discovery 4. They hooked it up to Testbook and worked through the faults. All sorted for no charge. Try that in the UK!

the landrover is all fixed now and i can highly recommend the garage in tangier !
engine completely stripped down, new shaft fitted, head gasket, push rods and a gear made and fitted. 2 days work and late into 1 night, lots of driving around to source parts, 4 guys working on the truck and a lift to the hotel. £350 which we are more than happy with back on the road tomorrow heading to rabat

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
