Yes we are running about 3.4 ton so a bit heavy 1.8 on the rear axel luckily King springs in australia made custom springs for stue so she rides well and the Bilstiens are upgraded internaly. they weighed the rear as 1.8 axel weight so just in, after speeking to Land Rover I can carry 2 ton rear axel but they recomend reduced speed but we only travel at 80 kmph any way due to fuel usage and when you travel too fast you miss so much, but the Steel wheels from a Comercial discovery as still going fine after 3 years constantly on crap roads. I wanted to go woolf rims but the PCI of the wheel nuts were different on the Disco 2.
But it show you that Comercial discovery steel wheels are fine for overland travel they can handle the weight fine.
