Smile Canada West 2015 HU Travellers Meeting, Nakusp, BC, August 20-23, 2015

If you haven't been to Nakusp, you owe it to yourself to go - the scenery is spectacular, the riding is amazing, (you WILL see wild animals from the road), the town is friendly and we can guarantee a great time!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Full details and Registration are open now!

Check out the great pics that Onno, Mark and Lori have put up from the Canwest 2014 event:

first timer

We're registering for the Nakusp gathering and it's our first Horizons Unlimited event. Woohoo! We're trying to decide whether or not to sign up for all the meals. Any hot tips to share? Thank you!

Buy the meals! There isn't a lot of other choice within easy walking distance and the food is good. The price is great too. If you want to come and go, there are other choices but if you want to get the full experience, you won't regret the included meals. My 2 cents...

Yeah, might be nice to have a "local" to share the ride. We'll stay in touch and hopefully meet in Naksup.

We will be travelling in Canada and USA in summer '15 (from UK) and with a bit of luck we should be in this area at this time. All being well we will see some of you there.

I came last year and it was just great, but I missed a day there. This time I'm coming for the whole thing.

I'll be motorbiking from Vancouver on Thursday, If anybody wants to join, they're welcome.

Also, I have an extra seat for my F650GS. It's the low seat for shorter riders, excellent shape, came with the bike when I bought it and I have no use for it since I have the normal sized one as well. If anyone is interested, I could bring it to the meeting and sell it there, or exchange for other parts for the F650GS... Let me know.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
