He was an angel on a scrambler. Good bye Walter
Walter came into our life in Panama. This January. We were looking for a way to cross. His friend Ray put us in contact.
Since that day we have been riding together.
Our trip became an incredible adventure with him.
The aim was to reach La Terra Del Fuego. He had been riding down on his Triumph Scrambler on his own from Canada.
Walter was the most positive person we’ve ever met.
He would never get crossed, never get stressed. Everything would be good enough for him. He would make the most of each situation.
He was the incarnation of kindness. A great spirit for adventure, and so much enthusiasm for life.
In such a short period of time, he became a dear dear friend. One of those friendships that you will cherish for the rest of your life.
He met so many people along the way. We don’t have the contacts of all of them.
If some of you are on the forum we hope you can read this post. He spoke fondly of all of you that he met on the road.
Unfortunately his path took a different turn on Saturday 13th of February.
He got hit by a car on the road between Copacabana and La Paz.
He died in the ambulance. I was with him until the end, he never lost his incredible sense of humor and his smile.
It sounds so unfair that such an amazing person leaves our lives.
We hope he will keep on his journey wherever he is.
He touched many many lives.
Our thoughts go to all his family and friends. He was that kind of person that one can just admire, respect and love.
Our dear Walter we're so glad our path crossed.
You changed our lives for ever.
You’ll remain with us for the rest of our days.
Be in peace.
Much much love.
