Merhaba,

That question shows that you are very carefull traveller and interested with the changes around, like me..

The reply for your question and truth is a bit political besides being social.
Better to keep under private headlines hoping that this will be a good information for all friends here..

A simple step by france started the unstoppable change here..

1-It all started when france blocked 20.billion dollars of kaddafi and didnt give it back so all arabian and gulf capital is being invested in turkey since then on construction of apartments, power plants, toll roads, bridges, shopping malls, etc.

2-Same is done by russian investors aspecially on hotels and seaside villages.

3-Turkey is getting a lot of tourists from russia (capital in mid asia in the new world system) for summer holidays and from arabian or other muslim countries aspecially during ramadan period..

Famous museums such as topkapı palace, st.sophia now have a waiting period of 3-4 hours before entrance.
Government decided to keep them open 24/7..

Colors for all tastes available in turkey now and you can easily reach..
Please remember Turkish airlines advertise movies with messi, kobe bryant, kevin costner, barcelona, manchester united, village children, etc..

Let me give you 2 ex.s. here.

A-All facilities are also used for academical meetings and congresses in autumns and winters.Last month my daughter was in antalya for pediatry congress and was participated by over 3000 doctors worldwide..

B-2015 is 100.th anniversary of anzac day and 8000 visitors tickets to aus. and 4000 to nz. is arranged by the government..
Now 32.000 id. in the wait list in australia governal organisation..

4-We have some towns almost belonging to Irish (Didim-Kuşadası), British(Kaş,kalkan), Russian(Antalya), german (Alanya)and Arabian citizens (some parts of istanbul, aegean and black sea coastlines) where they can live happily and cheaper aspecially after getting retired. They have their own communities, newspapers in their mother languages..They also rent their flats to their friends when they are not here..Tax free but secret business opportunity!!!

For.eg.
http://kalkan.turkishlocalnews.com/portal/
https://www.facebook.com/KTLNcommunity

5-Turkish locals generally have 2 flats, 1 in the city where business and relatives are and 1 by the seaside or on the plateaus for summer holidays.A home here and belief hereafter is an islamic advice..
This is also used for getting natural food for winter period.

6-Turkey has a serious earthquake program since the last big one happened in aug.17.1999..All buildings built before that date has to be renewed, rebuilt according to new standards against new eartquake risks and within 20 years.
If you are unable to do it yourself, credits by the governal organisations available such as TOKI.
Only certified buildings and flats are accepted by dask insurance system.
So if you loose your home in a natural disease, you will get the similar new one free..

7-Positive movement by the immigrations of businessmen from Syria and ıran..

8-Above all, many friendly locals volunteering for the tourism..Hoping to be 1 of them..
Students at sultanahmet square with blue t-shirts ask me written on..

This is also how new world system started happening here.

Yes, good and positive things happening here together with some negative twins..

The negative sides for me are, living in turkey started getting expensive and we are loosing our natural and humanity beauties..

Hope will be helpfull..

Best Regards..

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
