My Adventure screen now has 2 beautifully curved lines where i cut the screen and then glued it back again.
I did it for eaxactly the same reasons - to get rid of the turbulent noise.
Cut 1 - 2 inches below top - it was quieter but not alot but there was a noticeable increase in wind pressure on the shoulders.
I glued it back again to standard.
Cut 2 - After 2 weeks fed up with noise so cut 4 inches off. Alot quieter but alot more pressure from the wind.
Final Result - Glued it back together as (i) Custom earplugs to sort the noise (they're great and protect from tinnitus) and (ii) standard height which maximises protection and gives a much more realxing ride.
Have a go with a jig saw - 10 seconds off and 1 minute to glue it back again.
