Very nice system. I think the correct link for Kriega bags on your site is this one:
https://adventure-motorcycling.com/2...nder-s-system/
Simple answers to my questions would be:
Weight all up (racks, plates, bags) 13 kg. (28.6 lbs.)
Cost : 710 UKP or $1,065 USD.
Made in? Asia? I think you mean China.
For my "budget" agenda, I'll take these Nelson-Rigg bags every time.
What's wrong with them? Also made in China.

Hi Chris,
Just found this post and relevant it is. I've just bought a set of these for my little Honda and am contemplating a custom pannier rack arrangement to mount them too. I see by your pic above the need for that top slot for the buckle to sit against. Do you think the whole plate is a necessity for mounting or just a case of top and bottom slots accurately replicated on a custom rack plate. Could do with some dimensions shown on a 'Brass Rubbing' style drawing if your feeling generous with time and effort...!!!

Yes I suppose you could make a custom rack with the slots as on the plate, though IMOI the plate does help support the bag securely which is handy off road.
Sorry, my OS32s are long gone.

Thank you gents, think i can get the dimensions from the panniers themselves after seeing these images and the confirmation about the buckles being the key to mounting them. They seem well up to the job although the price left a hefty exit wound in the wallet i'm looking forward to having 'gone soft' after many years of being 'hard'...!!!!

That makes sense, as the listing on Taobao was not as great as I expected IF the Kriega bags were made in China.
