Thumbs up 2017 Romet Classic 400 / in Poland

My dear Echo is seeking a new owner!

"Echo" is a 2017 Romet Classic 400, with just around ~20,000km on the clock.

The bike is a new edition of a once classic Polish motorcycle.

The bike is in perfect shape, we traveled half the globe together. It got me all the way to Armenia, to the borders of Syria and Iran and to many other neat places. I never had any issues with it. The bike is in perfect shape, never been in any accidents, I care for it best I can, you won't find a scratch on it, oil's been regularly changed, all works great!

On the bike I installed collapsible, custom-built luggage racks and I also added a DIY storage "trunk" on the back (not everyone will like it but for me served the purpose very well. It's super easy to take off if you want). In the front, under the light, i have a toolbag. I also rigged up a USB charger and a light switch on the bike (neither of which comes with the base model).

I most enjoy riding around 60~90kmph - but when need be, you can easily push it up to 120~130kmph.

Bike is registered in Poland. Insurance valid till May 2023. Next technical check only in early 2024.

I frankly wish I did not have to sell it - but I'm leaving Europe for a longer time, can't bring it with me and I don't have any safe place to park my Echo. Even if I did, after the fun adventures we had, it'd make me sad knowing it's just sitting somewhere unused, collecting rust...

If you're looking for a racing machine or wanna go motorcrossing - this might not be the bike. Then again, for long and short-distance travel, as well as for cruising around town - it's simply a joy to ride!

Together with the bike, I want to sell 2 helmets:
* 1x brown LS2 Spitfire (3/4 helmet, with 2 replaceable windscreens) / + 45eur
* 1x gray (full face helmet) / +25eur

The bike is currently parked near Gdańsk in Poland. It can be seen / picked up there, or with prior arrangement - I might be willing to take it on one last ride and drive it to you within a reasonable distance (ie. to Germany, Czech Rep, Slovakia...)

Asking price for the bike is 2,750 EUR.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
