For a 2006 model with 37,000kms on the clock, that has had heavy off-road use and scars to prove it, you might not get $5,000. IMHO, delete the photos that show the bike on the beach .. salt corrosion. Maybe start the auction at $3,500, and expect around $4250?

That was a good a idea, like ebay but australia? I didn't figure out their site really, I'll give it a second glance later. No its ebay is it?
2006 is what you want, you don't want the new 2007, lots of problems with that one...
Yea, but it's like no real beach when you can leave it on the stand like that... From esperance, really nice!
One of the services that I can offer is to deliver it like anywhere almost =) Can even drop by people that are interested.. I can also do the re-registration, doesn't seem to be a big deal.
Raining today in Mel.

Im pretty sure that "fleabay" is just Aussie slang for Ebay.
Ebay could be your best bet for a guaranteed quick sale. 7 day Auction

Thnx, makes sense.
Or to go to a dealer... But I rather sell it to a private person.
I'll have a look on bikes at ended auctions, feels weird to bid on something you haven't seen.
Think I'll start moving NE today.

Robin,
Yes - 'fleabay' is a lesser term of endearment for 'eBay', rather than Aussie slang. It's 'eBay' in Aus as it is around the World ( eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home decor). I'd suggest you list it quite soon. Once autumn sets in, it may be more difficult to sell.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
