Truck camper in central america.

We have done south america by motorbike and just finished north america by truck camper (f350 + lance). The upgrade was due to an addition to the family. We now have our sights set on a year in CA down to Pamama and back. Clearly the set up we have is great for the 6 month old boy but how will I go with such a large vehicle down south? The truck is an 07 so fuel will be fine. We do stick out a bit, as in, we are quite clearly tourists.
Any advice as to the feasability of a set up like this down south?

I don't see any problems.
We're here with the bikes but we already decided to go back to 4 wheels "as soon as we can".

"stick out a bit" isn't a measurement.... so I guess you are still not higher than a local truck, so I don't see the problem.
Stop worrying.
Of course there might be some place that you won't be able to get into or through, deal with it en route...

One day you will be thinking that you should have brought a big ass truck and the next you will be wishing for a small VW camper van. That's life.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
