BRAZIL, TRAVELLERS INFORMATION

There are many reasons known worldwide to visit Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, Carnival, Iguassu Falls, etc. But overlanders are always looking for something unexpected, finding a small beach that wasn't on the map, or reaching a muddy road that was expected to be plain alsphalt. With more than 5.000 cities, 9.000 km of coast, Brazil is almost a continent and for sure you'll find any kinds of views, roads, food, people, after all what a proper travellers wants.

One of the best ways of visiting Brazil is riding  through the country, from north to south it's possible to enter Brazil coming from the Guianas, Venezuela, Peru, Bolívia, Paraguai, Argentina or even from Uruguay, uff that's a lot of borders!!! The atractions in Brazil are according to it's size, in South it's possible to visit the perfect beaches of Florianópolis, then go to Iguazu to see the Falls, visit Paraguai for some shopping or buying tyres for a bargain and later having a nice BBQ  in Argentina, 3 coutries in the same day. then it's possible to go up into central of Brazil and dive with thousands of fishes on clear water, find anacondas, and meet the Jungle life of Pantanal, after that go to Rio de janeiro and have an amazing time just enjoying the beautiful city and if you  still want some good time go to the northeast and find a ruge and empty beach and enjoy yourself with good memories.

Brazil has a ruge network of roads, most of them well paved, in south there are good roads but with some expensive tolls, in North you'll find some federal roads( BR 364, BR 163, etc) that are expected to be well paved but in fact are muddy and full of potholes, so it's good to practice your portuguese asking information about roads to truck drivers.

Another easy way to know Brazil and meet great people is looking for motoclubs, always with friendly and helpfull bikers that are always ready to give you info and help.
