A brief photo blog of my 5 week tramp around Japan early 2009 on a 400cc Suzuki Katana.
Last year Ollie bought a motorbike and learnt to ride it. This year he's riding that motorbike through America, Mexico, Central and South America.
Its not the going to the Black Sea that is the problem, it's the lack of rear suspension, brakes, power, in fact everything most people take for granted that come with a bike. So will the 60 year old bike make it? Will the similarly decrepit rider?

My girlfriend and I decide to go for a ridiculous scooter adventure. And I think we accomplished that. We jumped on our 49cc Yamaha C3 Scooter, completely overloaded it, and then rode it over the Mountains in BC, from Vancouver, BC, Canada, to Toronto, Ontario.
4500kms, in 11days. We even did 650kms one day! Not bad on a scooter that wouldn't go faster than 55kms/hr downhill. Don't get me started on uphills!
