Who: Heather Lea and Dave Sears

What: Dave and I will be leaving from Revelstoke, B.C. on a self-guided trip around the world.

When: Sept, 2015

How: by way of two BMW motorcycles; an F800GS and a G650GS

Why: Heather has a voracious appetite for new places. Dave has an insatiable need to see those places via as many remote dirt surfaces as possible.

Summary: I’ve had a lifelong goal to travel to 50 countries by age 50. So far, at age 41, I have 26 under my belt—27 if you count Alaska separate from the US. One day Dave asked if I surpassed 50 countries sooner than age 50, would I mind. And so we began planning our trip around the world. We decided to push the departure date up from fall of 2016 to fall of 2015. Dave sold his house and I sold my business. We both sold our vehicles and various odds and ends in order to finance the trip. We hope to take two years to complete our adventure. Follow along with us if you like travel and motorcycles!

This is a good friendly workshop-service for big motocycles. All spare parts, tyres, machines, tools available. Even you can repair your bike yourself if you wish. We often  meet this offer. Such a friendly place and last chance for a good service-repair point before heading east to Asia..

Personally I know these guys well and often meet some foreign bikers there.All of them are happy to be there. Talked to many of them.
