Hi Jacopo,

I hope you are having a good time!

Are you crossing via Sanniquellie? If you are how is the condition of the road? have they made any more progress on improving it?

Hi Jacopo,

Thanks for the update.

I'm actually in the UK at the moment, but I'm always looking at new routes for my company so it's good to know the latest road conditions.

The road via Sanniquelle used to be absolutely horrible but it's good to know it is still passable, even with the rainy season underway.

Cheers!

Hatter - the road from Liberia to San Pedro is not passable at the moment, I have a wonderful overhead photo of a very broken bridge taken by pilot friends of mine!

Jacopo - thanks for your PM, but Duékoué of all places is not the best place to be in CI!!!

You're welcome to come up to Abengourou, I'm hoping to be back in the next few weeks!

If you need any info/help about Cote d'Ivoire let me know!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
