Is it a XT660Z, or a XTZ660.... I've seen lots of posts with confused model numbers, appologies if you know one fro the other!
The XT660Z (2008 ->); Th ebars come off no problem, and forget the screen, leave it alone. the whole front subframe is mounted th ethe frame with two bolts, remove these and you can invert the whole headlight/screen assembly and bolt it back in place. You will need to remove the two plastic mountings that connect between the tank and the headlight assembly (part 4 in the linked drawing) by removing the two bolts at the side, then lifting the part from the tank (there are two locating pegs that go into the tank), take care not to loose the rubber washers. http://www.smokingtailpipes.com/Gall...dlightAssy.pdf" Hope this helps |
