"BCCOM - British Columbia Coalition of Motorcyclists, dedicated to riders rights. Putting on a big event August 4,5,6 and 7, the BC Day long week-end in the year 2000 at the KXA Exhibition Grounds in Kamloops BC. BCCOM 2000 will have demonstrations involving all aspects of motorcycling from the novice to the expert, displays, motorcycle skill events, games, entertainment, dealer demos and almost everything else you can think of concerning motorcycles. As if there would be a need for anything more we will also be hosting the year 2000 BC Ride for Sight, at the same time and at the same place."

"The BIG DOG RIDE is a BMW "Invitational Ride" for owners of BMW G/S and GS model motorcycles.
Entry level riders are not encouraged... 2002 will mark the 12th year for the event... expect to ride between 800-1,200 miles... over some of the highest, toughest mountain passes in the Rocky Mountain range, sometimes reaching 14,000 feet above sea level. Rain, snow and sleet... as well as 100-degree heat... Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Montana... numerous crossings of the Continental Divide, sometimes fording swollen streams... snow fields and shale cliffs... single-track path no wider than 24 inches, with a drop-off of 1,000 feet on one side and a sheer rock cliff on the other..."

UK based group: "For people with an interest in Big Trail Bikes, and their uses... Site was formed to share technical knowledge on bikes, put fragmented groups of riders in touch with each other, share 'grin factor' & rights of way information on surfaced and unsurfaced roads and create an international database of events, riding days/weekends & holidays."
