Ride to Guatemala, then donate or sell your Bike cheap to a US based Charity!

Hi everyone,
I am new here so please let me know where I should post this.
Panajachel, Guatemala
Mayan Families is a US based 501.c.3 Charity working in rural Guatemala.
We are looking for an Adventure Motorcycle to be donated to us here in Guatemala or sold really cheaply. I have spoken to numerous Adventure Travelers riding through and they suggested that I post here. Right now Tammy is riding through from Canada on her Kawasaki KLR 650, our dream bike.
So if anyone would like to ride to Guatemala, but doesn't want to ride back, we would love to hear from you!
We are not picky!
Japanese single cylinder bike are great but beggars can not be choosers!
We need the Bike for our work here in Guatemala!
We are all over the highlands, on back roads and trails. We do Medical and Dental Clinics, we help sponsor over 3,000 Indigenous children to go to school so having a Motorcycle that would allow us access to remote areas is crucial! Please help us with suggestions and ideas! We work in Guatemala so the Motorcycle has to be here or very close! Running or not. We will take care of all paperwork. This is Guatemala, so we can not Guarantee anything, but we will try. Cheap Chinese bikes simply do not last here and oarts are a hassle, sorry. Something we can get parts for, such as Japanese, Honda, Kawasaki KLR 650, Yamaha TT 600, German - BMW 1150 or 1200 or whatever, most bikes are great.
Thank you!

I plan on buying a KLR650 and riding from Texas to Guatemala in December of 2016. I was planning on donating the bike at the end. I am a board member of a Children's Charity here in Indiana USA. Are you still doing this? I noticed your thread but it's two years old.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
