Lightbulb HUBB UK 2014 - Donington Park - 19th to 22nd June

19th to 22nd June 2014
Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel, Leicestershire

After the fantastic success of the first HUBB UK last month, and having listened to all the feedback and suggestions from those that were there, we're nearly ready to open registration for the 2014 event.

We'll be returning to Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel even better than before and we're delighted that the event is once again being supported by Adventure-Spec.com

As well as the many improvements in the pipeline for the event itself, we're going to be keeping registration prices the same for another year - except this time we'll also be enabling online registration for 2-day passes for either the Thursday and Friday or the Saturday and Sunday.

If all goes to plan, we should have online registration up and running sometime during the evening on Monday 8th July and we'll post an update as soon as it's all there.

If you have burning questions about the 2014 event, please keep your powder dry until we've made the new pages live. Until then we'll only be able to reply with "wait and see". While you're waiting, and if you haven't seen it already, take a look at the HUBB UK 2013 Review.

Any comments or further feedback about the last event should go in the New Horizons in 2013 thread.

I'm late to the party again, but I'm in and yes Sam of course I'll volunteer, but don't tell everyone about how much fun it is or they'll all want a go.

I have to say that I'm really chuffed with the way that everything has and is coming together for the HUBB UK 2014!

All the feedback we had from people has been amazingly useful with getting things set up. And it's brilliant to see you guys already getting stuck in!!!!

Same price for 3 years now? Better than before? Yep, lets do it!!! And I love the video from last year - plenty of stars in there including a hound!

Well here's hoping my luck changes and I can make it this time. The subsequent few years are tied up at that time of year so its next year of bust for me...

Ouch Elaine!!! Have I been slave mastering? Really sorry. Volunteers aren't supposed to miss out - though quite a few of the guys like the chance to be more involved. We like that they do as it doesn't all happen without people mucking in a bit. Really grateful for your help in the past and your help would be amazing to have again if you are up for it. Couple of 2 hour stints over the 4 days suit you? But I do of course understand if all the talks, competitions, outdoor sessions and all drag you away... A lot going on eh.

New to Horizons Unlimited?

New to motorcycle travelling? New to the HU site? Confused? Too many options? It's really very simple - just 4 easy steps!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
