BMW 06 Swing Arm

Looking to purchase a new rear swingarm for my Dakar. Was wondering if there any difference between the Dakar and regular GS?

Found an 05 GS one so just wanted to check first!

Cheers,

Rob.

No difference between GS and Dakar, I've got one of each in my garage, how much is the one you've found? I'm pretty sure mine is cheaper

Cheers
Pete

Hey Pete. It's £40 with free delivery. In good condition. What you got then?!

That'll be the one on ebay from an 05 reg 650GS? Virtually the whole bike is for sale on there, but in bits.

What's wrong with the original BTW?

Giving my bike a proper refurb after a trans African trip.

My Metal Mule frame would pop out of the foot pegs and end up rubbing against the swing arm. It's now worn (and a bit rusty) on both sides so figured it might be worth replacing for a reasonable price.

Makes complete sense; a quote for powder coating of the existing may not be much cheaper, if at all, with labour costs what they are.
