Keep getting logged out on IPad

When browsing on an iPad I continually have to log back in on every visit despite ticking the stay logged in box.

First world problem I know, but annoying never the less?
Anyone know a fix?

Is it only HU? And you have already looked in Settings>Safari>Accept cookies >From Visited on your IPad settings menu?
I also find Safari is just quirky. I can't duplicate your Log Out problem, but Safari just shuts down from time to time for no reason.

Hi Gerri
Yes settings are set to accept cookies from visited.
No big deal just thought someone might know the fix.

Thanks for your reply.

It's not just your iPad. I have the same issue with my Windows laptop and my Android devices.

I have just learned to live with it.

It's probably one of those tiny programming glitches that would take hours to track down at great cost. Computers!

We've just installed a fix that might do it - if you continue to have trouble - or not! please let me know, it's really hard to bugfix when no one tells us what's up.

Frustratingly, it's only a few people that have trouble - most, so far as we can tell, are fine. And I never have a problem.

I'm using Firefox as my primary browser fwiw.

thanks, Grant

I've had the same issue with safari / IPad in the past, but recently things seem to be much better.

I just thought it was me!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
