Gringo tourist registering bike in Bolivia
Is there anybody out there who has registered a chinese bike in Bolivia as a tourist without the "carnet" that the locals and/or registered gringos have? And has anyone taken such out of Bolivia. There seems to be a number of threads covering similar topics and points, but does anyone have experience in exactly these points?

Sounds like I'm looking to do the same thing. Did you have any luck in the end? Really want to start riding from Bolivia but hear that it is all much easier in Peru and Chile. From a like wise frustrated Australian.
