Australian Visa Question
Hi,
I've posted this thread here and in the Australia section hoping someone can advise me as to whether it's possible for a Brit to get a visa for Australia whilst in Buenos Aires. I believe the visa is valid for 12months from date of issue but as I'll be at least that long into my RTW trip before I need it, there's no point in my obtaining it before I leave  !Cheers Derek.

You can apply for an Australian visa from any country with immigration officials. Be aware it takes about 10 working days to come through. All the answers are at www.immi.gov.au

Yep.
You can get a ETA (eletronic Travel Autorization )online in minutes for as cheap as 20 Australian$. This entitles you to any number of entries for up to a year , as long as you don't stay more than 3 months in one go. http://www.eta.immi.gov.au/ have a nice day Javier
