Australian Visa Question
 

Hi,

I've posted this thread here and in the Australia section hoping someone can advise me as to whether it's possible for a Brit to get a visa for Australia whilst in Buenos Aires. I believe the visa is valid for 12months from date of issue but as I'll be at least that long into my RTW trip before I need it, there's no point in my obtaining it before I leave:helpsmilie:!

You can apply for an Australian visa from any country with immigration officials. Be aware it takes about 10 working days to come through. All the answers are at www.immi.gov.au

I believe that you can get this online. It's called ETA.

Yep.

You can get a ETA (eletronic Travel Autorization )online in minutes for as cheap as 20 Australian$. This entitles you to any number of entries for up to a year , as long as you don't stay more than 3 months in one go.
