Hi Liam, I´ll be arriving to Santiago next Friday, my bike is already there. ..2 up heading south to Ushuaia.

I have loaded my Zumo GPS with Chile, Argentina, Peru and Colombia charts, and have an additional CD with same chart info, that i´m willing to shear with you.

I´ll be arriving from Bogotá, at the Arturo Merino Intl airport around 6:00 AM Jan 22, flyng by Avianca airlines.

Hope to see you there, my full name is Francisco Mosquera (Kico)

Best regards!

I´m going to Valparaiso tommorrow to try and get my bike off the dock.My friend arrives on 3rd feb so will prob head sth to Ushuaia then. Will head north after that and do the Pan American. Will stay in touch and hopefully see you on the road somewhere and exchange maps and stories.Goodluck.

The best legal free garmin Chilean map is in Proyecto Mapear but is not complete yet, but enough. Argentina is complete at incredible level.
Another way is to buy a pirate copy of ChileStreet or NavChile in MercadoLibre Chile - Donde comprar y vender de todo. or DeRemate.com Chile - Un sitio MercadoLibre

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
