Hi, nice rig, still see a lot of these out in the Sahara. Not really what I'm after but I'm sufficiently tempted to ask just three questions if you'd be kind enough to help, please.

So, when you say around the world, was that with you?

Exactly which engine does it have now? I'm imagining it should have started with the 2H and perhaps you replaced it with the 12H-T?

UK Motorway cruising speed with, say, two people and gear for a w/e?

I'm really after a HZJ 78 Troopy but they're like hen's teeth here too

Cheers pal, Budric.

Hi
No I didn't take it on its trips, the previous owners did. I think he bought it in oz then drove back to Europe the down to sout Africa, he was from Switzerland.
It has the 2h in it still, not the original, it was new about 100,000km ago, hardly uses oil and runs great. I use it every day, went to France in the summer and sit on the motorway about 100/110kmh it's quite tall gearing so wants to get on, this speed is just right for it

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
